TechOriginals Warranty Policy
1. Overview
At TechOriginals (Swastik Infotech), all refurbished laptops and accessories undergo thorough testing and certification. Our warranty is designed to give you confidence with clear, transparent coverage. We offer reliable support after purchase, though service timelines and options may differ depending on your location.
2. Warranty Period
- Standard Warranty: 6 months on all laptops, Apple products, chargers, and included accessories.
- Extended Warranty (6 months Extension – based on price):
- ₹10K – ₹20K → ₹1,999
- ₹20K – ₹30K → ₹2,999
- ₹30K – ₹40K → ₹3,999
- Above ₹40K → ₹4,999
3. What’s Covered
- Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Core components: Screen, motherboard, keyboard, RAM, storage.
- TechOriginals will repair or replace defective parts or provide an equivalent replacement device.
4. What’s Not Covered
- Software issues, operating systems, or apps.
- Consumables like batteries unless defective.
- Accidental damage (drops, liquid, fire, misuse, etc.).
- Cosmetic wear and tear (scratches, dents).
- Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or use of third-party parts.
- Devices with removed/altered serial numbers or reported stolen.
- Any part damaged or burnt due to power fluctuations, electricity surge, or short-circuit.
- Data recovery is not included — no personal or professional data will be retrieved.
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Data Backup: Customers must back up their data. TechOriginals is not responsible for data loss during service.
- Proof of Purchase: Required for any warranty claim.
- Warranty Registration: Must be completed within 10 days of purchase using the QR code on the Warranty Card.
6. How to Get Service
- Contact us via the Support/Contact Us page or email support@techoriginals.in with issue details and proof of purchase.
- Our team will attempt remote troubleshooting (within 24–48 hrs).
- If unresolved, the product must be sent to the TechOriginals office for inspection.
- If repair is not possible, a replacement of equal value/specs will be provided. Refunds, if approved, will be subject to depreciation.
7. Warranty Process (Timelines)
- Resolving a warranty issue may take up to 7-15 days, as the process includes technician inspection, pickup/delivery, and repair at our service facility.
- If the issue cannot be resolved within the timeline, TechOriginals may choose to replace or refund the product with a nominal 1% per month depreciation, calculated based on the number of days the device has been used.
8. Shipping & Handling
- If the issue is covered, TechOriginals will cover round-trip shipping.
- If not covered, the customer bears shipping charges.
- Products must be packaged securely; TechOriginals is not responsible for transit damage due to poor packaging.
9. Limitations & Liability
- Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
- TechOriginals is not responsible for indirect losses (business loss, downtime, etc.).
- Service timelines depend on parts availability.
10. Respect & Conduct
We are committed to professional and respectful service. Customers are expected to maintain courtesy with staff, and our team will always do the same.
11. Governing Law
This warranty is governed by Indian law, and disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of local courts.
